For the Willing Reading, June 19

Come on over to In Other Words Bookstore, 8 NE Killingsworth, Thursday June 19 at 6:30 pm for an evening of words & munchies!

I will be reading from my chapbook, For the Willing (Finishing Line Press, 2008).  I will be joined by wise and witty Katherine Salzmann, who will be reading from her books Prayer Ceremony (persian pony press, 2007) and Hemopoiesis (persian pony press, 1995). Both of us will have copies of our books on hand to sell and sign.

Walking Our Mothers

My essay, Walking Our Mothers, has been posted online by the wonderful mamas over at www.literarymama.com. It is the oldest piece that I have had published (written back B.C. —  Before Children), but somehow so current. It is for my mom, Carol, but for all moms, too.
