For the Willing Reading, June 19

Come on over to In Other Words Bookstore, 8 NE Killingsworth, Thursday June 19 at 6:30 pm for an evening of words & munchies!
I will be reading from my chapbook, For the Willing (Finishing Line Press, 2008). I will be joined by wise and witty Katherine Salzmann, who will be reading from her books Prayer Ceremony (persian pony press, 2007) and Hemopoiesis (persian pony press, 1995). Both of us will have copies of our books on hand to sell and sign.

Oh, phooey! I really want to come to this, but my husband will be out of town on business and our regular babysitter is unavailable because of out-of-town company! If I can’t find a way, I’ll be there in spirit! I’ll be reading at In Other Words on the 25th at 7:00 along with several contributors to The Maternal Is Political. What a great bookstore it is!

I wouldn’t miss it. I’ve read Katharine’s work and she is a love. I’m bringing a couple of doulas with me.
